Master’s Programme in International Design Business Management
The International Design Business Management (IDBM) Programme is a joint education and research platform of the Aalto University School of Business, the School of Arts, Design and Architecture and the Schools of Technology, Engineering and Science.
The purpose of the IDBM programme is to develop world-class competence in global design business management through multidisciplinary education and research which incorporates and integrates the areas of Design, Business, and Technology. The IDBM programme aims to educate skilled professionals for key roles in global design business. Arising from the needs of the industry, this programme gives future Marketers, Engineers and Designers an opportunity to practice important interpersonal trans-disciplinary skills through cooperative industry projects and specialized courses. The programme builds on the Design, Business and Technology competencies and capabilities achieved at the bachelor’s level, enabling participants to make full use of their own potential as members of inter-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. In the School of Arts, Design and Architecture students will complete the Master of Arts (MA) Degree in International Design Business Management.
