Come and see how the expression ‘Bachelor of Arts’ gets a new meaning in the design exhibition in Lume Gallery!

The exhibition presents young talents graduating from the Department of Design in Aalto University. Organized for the first time in Aalto’s history, the exhibition brings together students from different departments such as Textile art & design, Industrial design and Ceramics and glass.

What is the exhibition actually about? To give you a glimpse: It is about luxury harnesses, frying sausages, drying laundry and overtaking public space without permission. It is an ear library, adventurer’s watch, 3D-scanner for teeth and a nozzle for spray can. These and many more projects will give you an idea of what excites young designers in the spring 2015.

Because of Aalto University’s degree reform, old study programmes are now history. Hence Bachelors of Arts exhibition is the last chance to witness the works of final generations of their kind.

Welcome to the opening party on Wednesday 20th of May at 17-19 in Lume Gallery!

The exhibition will be opened by Kasper Strömman, Graphic Designer of the Year 2013.
