Welcome to Aalto Energy Efficiency Research Programme (AEF) Demo Day
How much energy can be saved just by improving the timing and positioning of street lighting? Is there a way to combine the European energy markets?

The Aalto Energy Efficiency Research Programme (AEF) is organising its first Demo Day on October, 23. The doors at the Energy Garage are open for everyone at 12:00-16:00.
The AEF programme has been running for almost two years now and it is time to present our research problems and future goals in the form of practical demonstations to our interest groups and general public.
How can we beat vacuum as thermal insulator?
How to design an urban Finnish dream home both energy-efficient and affordable?
Can nanostructures solve the material challenges in novel energy production technologies?
The event is held at the newly-opened Energy Garage, in the heart of Otaniemi campus.
Come and see what our researchers are working with and what kind of progress they have already made on our way to more energy-efficient solutions.
Welcome!
